Connection Problems

Alright so,I've updated the client to the newest version,launched the game,succesfully logged in and when I'm trying to connect to a server, I get the message "Failed to connect to EA Online". Firewall's dissabled,double checked by giving permission to the .exe file in the firewall settings,there's no conflict between the .exe and my antivirus...so...what gives?I've been searching the forums and the internet for a possible solution but everything's centered around firewall problems which i'm pretty sure I took care of. Sorry ,but I've been able to connect with no problems before (twas a long time ago though) and I'm realy up for some BF fun.Thanks in advance

Did you place the dinput8 in the folder... Failed to connect to EA = Not playing on Nexus' servers. The newest release is 866 and if you didn't update crab it from here:

I assume as much since you said you played this a long time ago.

Yes I did copy the file in the game directory or "root folder" as it's called around here,and still no go. I have no idea what's going on....checked the version of my game,it's the lastest: 795745 i believe.

If your game is up to date and you have the latest dinput8, make sure you havent used any cracks or modified exes other than ones that are approved by EN (such as the Nexus-EA Switcher which doesn't touch the BFBC2Game/Updater exes)

Nevermind,I've figured it out,looks like I've been trying to connect to EA servers instead of browsing for the nexus emulator ones. Everything's working just fine. Thanks for the quick replies though.

Oooor you clicked on "Join now" instead of going to the server browser...
