Crosshairs will only move side to side???

Hey so my crosshairs in multiplayer will only move horizontally. everything seems to be working fine but i cant aim unless the person is directly in front of me or level with where the crosshairs are located.
Maybe some issue with the mouse? it seems to work for every other aspect.
any ideas? thanks!

Please someone!
The only way i can move the crosshairs is by rotating the mouse but it will only go side to side.
If i want to move them up, i have to use the "look up" button, and then i get stuck looking at the sky,
the same goes for when i use the "look down" button.
For some reason my mouse cant move up and down freely in-game.

Anyone know anything about this?

Change the mouse controls in your game settings.
