Change nickname

Hi, as you can see my nickname is not the most friendly one so I am beeing kicked from the most of the server just for the offensive nick. I didn't know there were rules for nickname so I would like to ask you to change my nickname. I don't want to create another account so that I don't lost my level.
Any advice?

Delete your soldier and create a new one.

The forum name is only a login credential you can change your ingame-nickname by creating a new soldier.

I am talking about BF BC2. I didn't notice any option to change soldiers name.
And if I create a new soldier I think I have to start from the beggining of the career.

You can't rename the soldier.

If you want a new one, you will have to level him up from the start.

You can try to send a PM to Nofate to ask him to change your name in the DB.

You can't do that, I used to do this at IRC channel and got refused. So maybe it's not available for us to change the name of soldier.
