How to get started.

Hi guys well id like to get started but after 2 full install attempts i wind up with Failed to connect error.
I have downloaded all what the website says is required installers and installed it to the best of my understanding.
(I have not found any clear instruction on the noSTEAM website.
If there is an update im missing could someone please point it out as i know this is usually as simple as my game client having the "Wrong number" to the servers.
I'd really like to play on these servers if possible.
I might add i live in Australia so server location and ping could be an issue.

Update it, place dinput8.dll in game folder, done.

These Files are completely different to what i have.
Back to square 1 lol
