Squad Vehicle Update

The Squad devs finally seem to be trying to implement vehicles in their game. It looks like trucks and humvees are the only things added so far but I guess its a start at least. Honestly, I don't think anybody but fanboys will get excited about trucks but hopefully tanks & helis won't take an eternity now.

Tbh, not every combat scenario needs tanks and helis irl, so I don't see why it should for a game to be fun. If you really want everything, just go play Project Reality, now that BF2 is obsolete. But yeah, glad to see updates to Squad. I'm waiting on a price drop and picking it up. I really love games like this one.

Exactly. Apart from technical difficulties, I suspect the Squad devs hesitated to add vehicles sooner because they were trying to avoid becoming a second rate BF clone. I don't want to be uncharitable but it calls into question the game's purpose for existing at all really. Since BF2:PR is fully featured and totally free, $40.00 seems pretty pricey for a half finished indie version.
