I envy chopper pilots

Yea i envy them because i can't fly anything for longer than 10 secs. I really want to fly jets and choppers. Pilots always pawn me in every bettlefold game and also planetside 2.

Trolling ?
Join an empty server with air vehicles, get in one of the choppers lift off vertically and try to get used to the mouse steering.
After you got comfortable with the mouse you can try to fly a bit by using your mouse to lean the chopper forward and stear with A and D. Try to avoid moving the mouse sideways. That would cause a panic reaction by you since you're a beginner at flying. (At least you're pretending to be one o.O)
Also: Look at the awesomeness of flight skills. (Well they're easy in BF3)

Then try that what i told you.
The tricky part about the choppers in BF-games is that the controls have a different pattern than in GTA for example.
Try to get familiar with the mouse and you'll be fine.

The only useful thing is learning how to kill a tank while jumping from the helicopter
