nope the game is far awey from unmoddable obviusly , it is unCRACKABLE( officialy, but not really, just that option is kinda ilegal) , so him modding it is just a hell lot of expiriance with programming, reverse enginering and modding so yea ....

that was a fast reply
anyway what i was trying to say how did they let him mod an unmoddable game without locking his ip
Vextor wrote:Well, how did NoFaTe do it?
Bettlefold 3 isn't unmodable. Even if they say so, it isn't really, just simply them trying to detract people who can modify games. NoFaTe most likely did a lot of RE'ing, and then found the way that BF3 uses Blaze, and then codes a emulator that can fulfill all of these functions.
After that, make the client connect to the Blaze emulator you just made, and profit.
As for locking 'his IP', there would be no way they could do that. First, they would have to find it, then they would have to go through a complicated court process, which wouldn't even work since NoFaTe hasn't released his work yet.
And they have no grounds on doing it, really.
