The most horrible terrible disgusting failure of optimization of history award goes to Ubisoft for AC Unity
Required Specs:
OS: 64-bit Windows 7 SP1, Windows 8/8.1
Processor: Intel Core i5-2500K @ 3.3 GHz or AMD FX-8350 @ 4.0 GHz or AMD Phenom II x4 940 @ 3.0 GHz
RAM: 6 GB
Video Card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 680 or AMD Radeon HD 7970 (2 GB VRAM)
DirectX: Version 11
Sound Card: DirectX 9.0c compatible sound card with latest drivers
Hard Drive Space: 50 GB available space
Recommended Specs:
Processor: Intel Core i7-3770 @ 3.4 GHz or AMD FX-8350 @ 4.0 GHz or better
RAM: 8 GB
Video Card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 780 or AMD Radeon R9 290X (3 GB VRAM)
Explain me Ubisoft, how the fuck can Xboxone run this game?

So? It's not allowed to have new hardware requirements? If you don't want to upgrade every few years, buy a console and change it after its lifespan runs out (7-8 years).

I hope you are being ironic. It is just Ubisoft being lazy. There games with far better visuals and they don't need a gtx680 even for lowest settings.

The main reason that developers only optimize their games for the consoles is because it isn't worth spending much time & effort on the vastly less profitable pc market. The other reason that pc games are poorly optimized is because the game publishers are in partnership with Nvidia & ATI to drive new hardware sales.

Better no pc version than a crappy port.
