Underclocking ? you ever do it

I Mostly play FPS games with lowest graphics option cause I don't care
about extra shiny graphics anyway I underclock my GPU to minimum setting
and I steel getting the same number of fps but with less heat issue ,


did you ever try underclock your GPU ?!




Normal setting : 55 to 70 FPS

Underclocked : 50 to 60 FPS

unnoticeable difference

Haven't had heat problems on my PC yet... But it's useful for Smartphones.

I'm using a laptop with i5 2410M and GeForce GT540M, which is bought 2 years ago. If I lock the DirectX version to 9 then it will run smoothly with graphics set to high.

So you are not playing with Intel Graphic Card you using the Nvidia
