We never said you can play it for free...
Do not assume that Venice is a project for cracks or free online multiplayer.
Since i know, that you need a original licensed game with unaltered files and a updated game for playing Venice.

Venice will be free, you don't need to give us any money.

I said: You have to spend some money. Because without a licensed game there is no Venice for you at the moment.
The game creates a license file with a related machine hash. You have to own your own game period.
Unless we have any further information about the license there is no way to play Venice for free when you didn't own the game before.
