You can create a file called user.cfg at the installation folder of Battlefield 3 with the following content:

Code: Select all

GameTime.MaxVariableFps 100.000000 //fps cap, adjust if you like
    PostProcess.DynamicAOEnable 0
    Render.DrawFps 0 //Set to 1 to disply fps counter
    Render.DrawScreenInfo 0
    Render.PerfOverlayEnable 1
    Render.PerfOverlayVisible 0
    RenderDevice.ForceRenderAheadLimit 1
    RenderDevice.Dx11Enable 0
    RenderDevice.TripleBufferingEnable 0
    WorldRender.FxaaEnable 0
    Screenshot.Format png
    WorldRender.DxDeferredCsPathEnable 0
    WorldRender.FxaaEnable 0
    WorldRender.SpotLightShadowmapEnable 0
    WorldRender.SpotLightShadowmapResolution 64
    WorldRender.TransparencyShadowmapsEnable 0

By the VU, do not intend to work on it now.
