Origin is down!

So origin seems to be down right now. Whenever i try to login, it says that i have entered incorrect credentials. Will origin being down effect the testing of Venice Unleashed being open to the public? Are people still able to play on Venice Unleashed, even though, Origin is down?
Edit: It is back up now

Origin (or other EA services) being down does not affect Venice Unleashed and its operation.
The only thing it could do is prevent people from linking their Origin / EA account to their Emulator Nexus account in order to play, but other than that everything should be fine.

Had the same six hours ago.. try to enter your username instead of the email adress. Worked for me back then.
