well I guess nothing is impossible , the guys have shown us enough proof of their capabilities , I'd rather think that they are having a good time doing their job , and if delayed , I''d rather think they are delaying it on purpose to avoid legal harassment .

We´re not breaking any defense.
We´re dealing with several security mechanisms.
Emulating stuff is not cracking. It´s a combined work of modding and overriding.
Since modding is not generally prohibited, we´re pretty save with our projects.
Actually, NoFaTe is busy with private things till early February.
After that he will continue the work on the Rome server and client.
Venice is far, far away in the future. And even more far away from being playable.
It´s not even alpha...

I think the only reason why you managed to get past the legalities so well was because of the fact that the emulator requires the real/original version of the game.

The mod will work with every installment updated to its necessary version.
Either bought or ripped both will work when the necessary patch is installed.
Since Bettlefold 3 is Origami-only its much more harder to get any patches/updates.
Indeed users of the original legit version will have some advantages.

Unless a nice kind person with premium and all DLCs uploads the Bettlefold game files and folders, etc.

He means it's integrated with Origin's authentication system.

In fact we wont integrate Origamis authentication system.
The client will be Origami-free. So the game will only run with our forum login.
(And maybe on LAN offline any time in the future)

Indeed, so that being said, the only thing you would need would be client and Bettlefold files, exactly what I'm saying with my post above.
