Venice Unleashed

I was just curious about this as I found these on one of my hardrives a few months after the release but I decided to hold onto them because people said that the Battlefield 3 Alpha was better(I won't go into details here for now), but anyway I held onto them because I taught that it might be possible for someone to set up a server with this build.

On a side note, forgive me if this topic is off-line but this seemed like the appropriate place to post it and I've just discovered the possibility's of Nexus.

Venice Unleashed will only support the latest version of the game.
It would also be rather difficult to use the Alpha Trial client, as EA stopped issuing licenses for it, making it impossible to launch if you do not have one from back in the day.

Can we get a fork that can support the Alpha client? I still keep a backup of the client files and the DRM is not that big of an obstacle (you don't have to worry about that one). We just need server support.

Are you referring to Origin?

Also, it may not even need to be a server, I guess the files could also be used to compare with today's BF3 and then make changes where the Alpha was better i.e using c4 to make a trench. YouTube = /watch?v=MKnihf8N_bs

As I said, Venice Unleashed will only support the latest BF3 client.
There are not (and will probably not be) any plans to support any other versions.
