Maybe you should explain the thing more clearly, did you just make your own emulator? If so, I think it won't be a problem for you to join the server; If not, you should ask the one who gave you files, and he's the genuine

Edit: Also are you using the outdated server files? You can't join the game with them unless you're using the latest one.

Edit 2: Seems like you're using R8... that's outdated and you can't join the server.
