wen venice will be realise we need Battlefield 3 with all dlc or limited edition fore play with the emulator?
because it hard to find all dlc ,
i have btf3 black box (8GB no dlc) did he will playable on the emulator ?

If you own a original version it will be playable.
Because it will contain the latest updates and patches.

The DLCs are optional and not really necessary.
If you have them you can use them, if not you cant, but it doesnt matter.

That's what I love about this project. It literally emulates the system rather than crack it.
But that makes me wonder. Why did Alter Revolution go down when they too were emulating the server?

How is it possible that the project manages to emulate the server without having to use the main .exe? Since the main code runs in that executable I would have imagined you would need to emulate the entire file, yet we only use the DLL.

The .dll files doesnt emulate anything.

NoFaTe wrote a Plasma emulator, the networking backend for Rome.
The Blaze emulator is the networking backend for Venice.

The .dll files redirect the client traffic from the official servers to the emulators.

The .dll NoFaTe uses is a DirectX input dll that is modified to fulfill some tasks.

You should read about hooking functions. Then you will have some answers.

I`ve asked the same question and the answere is : if you can find all the patches and updates yes, but if not then there is no way you can play it. I´ve tried to find a way to do it but as far as i know there is no working ways for now.
