There are in the normal EA Server list some modded server for a while.
Wondering how this works. Guess there be rented normal server, and then changed the files.

Does anyone know of a game server provider in which that is possible? So with FTP access to all files?

Or is there a way to have a Nexus Server (own dedicated server) show on the official list?

EA servers and Nexus servers are not the same. If you want to host your own server, you can, but only on EN servers. For EA servers you have to rent a server and mods aren't allowed there.

Yea, i know they are not the same. But there are modded Server in the EA server list.
Some are marked with the "EA" Tag. you can search for them. But i'm sure they are not from EA.

There is for example a Server with 30 Chopper and some with x15 EXP Bonus.

You can access them over the normal Serverbrowser (not using the dinput8 hook).

So there is definitely a way to mod official server

Why ask here, when it's not even for Project Rome? You can mod EA servers like you can do it here
