Venice Unleashed

Hey guys

I installed BC2 and copied the ProjectRome file dinput8.dll into the folder.

After updating, I was able to play for the first time.
After closing the game, every time I start it as administrator, no window pops up.

So it's a fresh install.

If I remove dinput8.dll, the game starts up

I have tried deleting the settings files in my documents.

All drivers up to date etc...
Anyone have a solution?

Windows 8 64 bit
Amd Athlon 435
7850 Gfx
4GB ram

What antivirus are you using? AVG detects the dinput8 as malicious software and that may be it

It started before, now it doesn't start. No idea why (im his brother)

if it was able to start once it can't be an antivirus

Maybe install Visual C++ 2005-2010.

I have no anti virus or firewall
I do have the visual C++ update

Sorry guys
I compared my files with my brothers, it had an extra d3d9.dll file in it
deleting it solved my problem
