Quick Question

I'm not sure if this is the right section or not, but I'll take the risk and assume it is..

When I try to login to my Rome account, I get the 'unable to login' error. (the username/password is correct)

So, for my question: How long will this continue? Are my stats safe?

It would really stink if the account was reset.. Trying to get back where I was would take at least another 4 months..

Also, the rome account under this forum account is not the account I'm referring to. I lost my forum login information to my original account, so I had to create a new forum and Rome account. The account that I am not able to login to is under the name 'diamondhindend' & 'hindend'.

Any help will be appreciated

You can try deleting the whole "BFBC2" folder in your Documents folder, that may solve the problem.

Remember, backup it first.

Make sure you do not have any spaces or special characters in your password, use only letters and numbers. Also, try using your forum username to login instead of email.

Ah okay. Well I now have access to my forum account, but I still can't login to the game client..

Edit: shit, this isn't the account either. The original account I had was made before August.. I can't believe I forgot my login information..

I do know for a fact that I had the word 'hindend' and 'diamond' in the username though..

I never had the chance to activate my original forum account, so is there anyway an admin go through the list of inactive accounts and look for a username with diamond & hindend in the username?

Edit 2: Oh wait a minute.. was my account deleted during the downtime because it was never activated? That would explain why I'm not able to login, right? :SSSS

We didn't delete inactive accounts. I can only look for accouns if I know the exact name (And even if I find one, only NoFaTe can change it).

@HVX1: If you lost your stats, delete your BFBC2 folder in "My Documents" and play until you get 1 level up. If that doesn't help, there's nothing we can do for you.

Hmm.. Well, 'hindend' is the solider's name, and I'm 99% sure the login username was 'diamondhindend'. (..Unless I'm getting the clan name mixed up with the login.)

After entering in my username over at rome.robbinghood.me, this came up:

So my horrid stats are safe, but I still can't login.

Look, your username is the same one you use on the forums here... if your password was changed or something, it will still be the same as the forums'. So if you can't login after trying that, its your internet connection or firewall messing you up

There is no user called 'diamondhindend', I just checked.
And as I said, we didn't delete it. There might be a small chance it got lost during the transfer, however I don't really think so.
If the persona "hindend" is not associated with your forum name "hindend", then there must ovbiously be another account of you.
