Is everyone here having this problem? The ping is VERY high when i search for servers.
But the ping was low before.

The game does not show the Ping 100% correctly. It tends to show a slightly higher ping than it really is.
However, this should not affect your gaming experience.

yes that's right...... but last two days the game is unplayable minimum ping is 280 for everybody..on servers used to be 150...180..???

so these days the ping is 450....500....and above....something wrong and the game so laggy!!!!!

yup same here! before the last time the "server maintainence" i had a 4-5 servers in 15-170 ping range and now they are above 400!

Well, the problem must be on your side, I get pings from 20-40 on the first 15 servers.

No...unfortunately, I doubt it , this is the first time I get such high pings since EN 2012....I have good internet.... ports are open
open..... firewall..... everything is set up correct and i was playing on more than one server and I saw many people are facing the same 500 and above.... all the possible fixes ....i tried but No success....!!

on side note: I am asking other people to post here if they have the same...so the admins know about it and help us fix it...thanks

UPDATE!!
Just tried bc2 today and the ping issue seems to have been solved for me. i noticed a coupleof hours ago the nexus master server kinda restarted! (0 players) and after that the servers are good and playable!
