Sniping help?

With the stats being reset, I figured its a good time to start playing classes that I usually ignore. For me, that would be the sniper due to the fact that the bullet drop was too much of an obstacle for me. However, I'm willing to give it another try since I've been reading up on how to use scope reticules.

Basically, the sniper scopes in game help you estimate distance. The distance formula is equal to target height in yards X 1000 / Mils read.

I can estimate range, but I'm having issue with adjusting for bullet drop? Does anyone know how to make bullet drop estimation easier? Is there an approximate guide to how far the round drops at each distance?

mostly use m24 i think its called in normal bc2 and aim between the middle and the dot under it aim right in between, aim for head ofcourse and shoot, this is for medium ranges, u have certain scopes like x12 where u can always aim that way

GOL is the best sniper weapon, if you aim at the head, BAM enemy is dead.

Just hold the scope up, fire at a wall (or similar) at a (close to a) range that you want to be shooting at (don't drop the scope) and see where the bullet drops to on the scope and that will give you your ranging ..... simple but effective.
