Hi,
we are an group of 30 reallife Friends and organized our own private LAN Party two times in the Year! At our lokation is no Internet possible. So the game-pool is realy small.
Last weekend we organized our 30th LAN Weekend and we was bored abaut playing BF2 again again again...
So in front of the weekend i surf the Net and find this awesome legal Projekt, without crack! This is my understanding of the "Freedom of the Net". Making great projekt but with respect of the work from others. So i realised the Rome Server (note: works only fine under Win32bit) and all participants buy the Game aaannnnd we have had an realy great Weekend.

We are looking forward to VENICE.

"Legal project, without crack" ... explain yourself? Why should a legal project have a "crack"... also, do you even own BF3 to be anticipating Venice?

At my search to play BC on our LAN i find only Websides with cracks and so stuff. But this is not our Way to play. So i was realy happy of this projekt.
...all Gamers have buy an original Game, i dont allow to play with an Crack on our LAN . So if VENICE realized all our Gamers buy BF3 too.

Please use Google Translate or something.. From what I got you have BC2 and you were looking for a way to play on LAN with your friends and all the other sites had cracks? And yes, Venice will require a legit copy of the game to play on their servers

I do not know where the problem is. I have translate back and everything is understandable.
I did not serach for an crack. We all buy the Game. Anything is fine. Its an great Projekt. I say thankyou to the Team!

Uhm... Rome isn't possible in a LAN yet o.O
It still requires communication to out masterserver.

If you really want to pla in a LAN (with no Internet), try out MASE BC2.

Also, the server does work on x64...
