Remove Mouse Smoothing

Wed Jul 31, 2013 1:36 am

Now if you're a person who is used to very fast paced games with fluid movement such as CoD, Quake or TF2, you might not enjoy the mouse smoothing feature of Bettlefold. This feature basically adds a feeling of "weight" to your movements, meaning that the rate of turn is influenced not only by the distance of how far your mouse moves, but also how quickly you move the mouse. Many claim that this adds a realistic feel to the game, but others find that it creates inconsistency in aiming.

This guide down here shows you how to disable mouse smoothing in both infantry and vehicles. Ive found this guide useful to making my aim much more consistent.

However, I have found that I use a few different values than what is presented in the guide

in GameSettings.ini
Sensitivity0=0.000000 - I have this at 1, but feel free to experiment
Sensitivity1=0.000000 - I have this at 1, but feel free to experiment
Sensitivity2=0.000000 - I have this at 1, but feel free to experiment

Scheme0Sensitivity=2.50000 - I use .025, but this will vary among mouse DPI. Experiment with it.

Fun fact: I play on default settings except from resolution and overall graphic quality and now look at my banner below.
Thanks.

Its here, just in case ;)

I find aiming to be essential in this game because every shot counts, especially since recoil is actually noticeable and there is gravity, unlike another (most) FPS. Especially when sniping.
