Bad Company 2 Stats Page - Always ~1000 players but why?

I check on these forums daily and sometimes even hourly when I really have nothing to do. I am no inside man so I was just wondering, why is it every time I go to the stats page on the main page it is always ~1000.. It is quite an achievement since I remember it being ~300-400 a day but it still seems rather low to me for such an epic project with so much to offer. Not to mention some users have been misbehaving and using the dinput8 for nothing more than passing that login screen (if you catch what I'm throwing at you).. So why the numbers ~1000-1100? I asked if there was a limit to players in-game but was told there is none so I was just wondering with all the popularitiy Nexus' had lately (being Venice going into closed beta soon) how come there aren't like 2000 or 3000 people a day. I even happen to have a really old video that's made showing how to play this game and it has close to 80k views... where did everyone go or is there really a limit? I'm thrilled to find out just out of curiosity why isn't this the biggest thing on the internet. Answers appreciated but don't go on a spamfest in this topic. Or if there's a way to get more people hooked onto this, I am in for it, I love the game from the bottom of my heart and this Project is just making it better so I'd love to see a giant wave of EA players coming over to yours

Today ,i was refered to this project by a steam buddy of mine. Ive been looking for something like it for ages now ,and couldnt find it... This thing needs more advertisements and it'll reach 10000+ actives in no time.

I have about 80k views like I said and more keep coming with problems or gratitude for me showing them their project but it's still roughly 1000. I am also pretty sure this was on PCGamer's site the when it came out and lots of other sites should have it too, whether they're for gaming news or in general.

As of now we have 175845 members in total.

Maybe the master server is rejecting connections.

But when you look at the server counter, there are ~140 dedicated servers up and running.
Not all of them are working correctly. And not all of them are full all the time.

I guess it's related to the small amount of dedicated servers.
