With the help of Timse (and that means a lot of trial and error on my end and refusing to let him do it for me), we managed to make a simple "tool" which allows you to switch your Frost.Game.Main.. etc or otherwise known as the Host tool to BC2 Maps or Vietnam Maps (since it requires some tweaking in the options and some Edit/Delete here and there). This is in no way the final release and if I try giving it some more time I am sure some more interesting things could come up with it, possibly even with a GUI in the future but for now it's a CMD which asks you which maps you want and starts the FrostGameMain for you after you pick it. The idea came from a lil' more advanced tool that allows you to change from the official EA Servers to the NexusBF servers and vice versa after which starting the game for you. I'd love to hear some suggestions other than the fact that it's something written in about 10 minutes and compiled into an exe. That would improve in the future hopefully if I actually do give it the time like I already said and Timse bears my probably retarded questions.

P.S. - This tool was made with the people who use BC2CC and/or PRoCon to make their server hosting easier if they want to change the GameModID every time. I recomend to all Server Hosters out there to truly try out these as it makes hosting and server management (as well as settings editing) much easier. I'm just wondering... Why do you have to place the Serveroptions.ini in the server-root? Wouldn't it be easier to just modifiy it in the 'Instance' directory?

Also, I don't know why my tool is "more advanced"

Well, it's not really advanced but it's not as simple as line 1, line 2 and done. You have the dinput8 move around depending on the option while I just have the Exe run the hosting tool with or without the Revision and GameModID. I was trying to do a UI that you can utilize such as changing player slots on the server or even server name and RCON Password but that will come in time, this was only a test like I mentioned and I was being helped with basic coding ideas from Timse

About the instance folder, this is for people who for some reason don't have it. I have an older version of the tool since I am often talking with Timse and he's the one who helped me make this "release, though like I said, I am gonna try to make a UI and possibly even GUI with the help of another friend to make the ServerOptions.ini be edited from within to save the choices in between launching and closing or if it could be done with the ServerOptions, that'd be even better, but again, I am just "researching" right now so nothing could be said for sure at this point.

I have coded before but I am just getting back into it after a year and a half of nothing to do with any sorts of commands. I am pretty much a rookie at this point and like I said, it's thanks to Timse that my idea came in through after him testing it out himself a couple of times and then we tried making it like yours. Bat To Exe converter and there you go, "a simple tool" at this point

No idea of programming, minor knowledge of Batch and a little boredom combined with a Batch to Exe Converter => Nexus Switcher
