Re: Combine the 120hz client with the standard one

I don't understand the request. The 120hz, 60hz, and stock clients are all one in the same. He didn't get the two launch button are just the same exe using launch args. He just want to switch from 64<=>128 tick in game, without restarting the game. Impossible. Answer. Nice to know we have another a...

Re: Dog tags

Why the hell do you want "DICE Friend" dogtag if you're not a "dice friend", it's just cringy and retarded, it's like peoples pretending to be veterans whereas they are just fat nerds.

Something like "Emulator Nexus Friend", would be more logical.

Re: Modding tutorial

Well, you could theoretically make your own C# compiler in Lua (If you REALLY REALLY LOVE C#) , but it does require LuaFFI (it's going to be easier with it)

Like this ... Lua compiler in ... Lua

Too bad we won't have acces to LuaFII/Native Module support.

(It's Lua btw, not LUA)

Re: Physically Based Rendering in BF3?

Are you thinking about some remplacing envmap system by some kind of GPU-Based Ray tracer ?

I think you should ask Boris Vorontsov about that, (The ENB guy).
He did remplace the envmap system in Skyrim (Well, the Bumpmap system) by a real reflection system.

Re: Hooking engine-close function/LuaJIT+LuaFFI/Native binary modules support/Threaded Lua instances/[Gfx/Scaleform lib

Securities problem linked to LuaFFI, i get it, but what about some kind of "Safe folder", where "dangerous" functions can be used , but not by files sent by the server (I guess Shared/Clientside mods stored on the server are sent to the client while he's connecting). Here what i'...

Hooking engine-close function/LuaJIT+LuaFFI/Native binary modules support/Threaded Lua instances/[Gfx/Scaleform lib]

Having access to engine function , thinking about camera angles/pos hooking for making VR mods in C++/Lua would be nice , it would also allow cinematic mods (anything related to custom camera for specs/movies cameras) would be useful. LuaJIT is going to be required if we want to make mods with LuaFF...
