Alright, try running the launcher (vu.exe) as an administrator, or goto where you have Battlefield 3 installed (ex. C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games) right click->Properties, Then Security, then set Users (Or Everyone, a bit less secure) to have modify permissions over the Battlefield 3 director...
