Game Crashing on launch after update

The moment I launch the game it crashes with this error. It was working fine yesterday before the update but now after said update it wont start. I have tried reinstalling but nothing else.

Edit: Reinstalled to different drive and disabled AVG at the same time fixed it but it shouldn't have been avg since the folder was a listed exception

Seems like your game was not activated properly. Awc.dll is a part of EAs DRM if im correct.
Did you run the game before trying vu the first time? If not, that might was causing the issue.

awc.dll is not part of VU, it should be an element of EAs DRM.
Try to repair BF3 using origin and start the game at least once using battlelog
