Has anybody had luck using a laptop with Intel + nVidia?

Fri Jan 01, 2016 3:16 am

I can never go more than 10 or so seconds after startup without Venice Unleashed crashing and returning

DirectX function "GetDeviceRemovedReason" failed with DXGI_ERROR_DRIVER_INTERNAL_ERROR: An error occurred.. GPU: "NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970M ", Driver: Unknown
.

Apparently, this is known issue with dedicated nVidia GeForce laptops. There are no graphical settings in my BIOS. Does anyone have ideas for preventing this error?

Battlefield 3 works perfectly
nVidia Control Panel is set to dedicated for vu.exe
Windows 7 Pro
Avast Free Antivirus

you can play on your laptop but your should disable optimus in your BIOS.
As your are using windows 7 ensure that you have the Platform update installed
