A novice Procon question

Thu Jan 10, 2013 9:36 pm

Hi,

I'm sorry if I'm missing something, but in order to connect Procon to my Bad Company 2 server. I click the "Create Connection" button in Procon and I need to enter a username and password with port 48888, is this the correct port and what username and password do I use?

Any help for a New, soon to be server host would be much appreciated.

Thanks

In your Server root, there's a folder "Instace". Go there and edit the ServerOptions.ini

Change RemoteAdminPassword to your password.

Then connect ProCon. But don't use 127.0.0.1/localhost as IP! Either use your external ip(Find it out here: http://ipchicken.com/) or you internal LAN IP(e.g. 192.168.1.2).

Don't use a username, use only the password you set in ServerOptions.ini
