Re: Suggestions on PC Upgrade - videocard | Help "kinda" nee

Not to "Bump" this but I remembered something I forgot to mention back then when Robbing was talking about the "myth" about ATI cards and AMD Processors working better together. I have an FX6100 which has a GPU of its own and I was told by my local sellers that the GPU will not work while the 550 is there. Not sure if it will be compatible with an ATI card or if it's just a "backup" in case my videocard goes popcorn but still, the ATI cards are much cheaper to begin with and as my location suggests, I don't have much money

ATI Processor would work better with an ATI Card. I'd get an Nvidia one but alas... I've heard it'll be better if I got an ATI

Yeah, thanks Lapin, we already got that point. They used to be called that way... I am not a person who likes changes. Santa Claus was called different names too but who cares, the point isn't shown here -.-

My suggestion. Wait for AMD to release HD8xxx Series. Must be something cheap that do preforms well and will be future proof...
Or get an GTX760. :geek:

I won't recommend "PowerColour" as а maker. It's cheap and the capacitors blow super fast.....

@ - Can I get your GTX550  - NO :!:  It's already Pre-Ordered ;) (It's reserved for me)

Asus, Sapphire or Gigabyte, Zotac and Palit are fine.

What is up with the "pre-orders" of my old Graphics card... you do realize that if I am selling it after I get a new one (probably not soon), I am not giving it out cheap :D Highest bidder gets it, even if it's the PC Shop down the street

"Asus", "EVGA" and "Gigabyte" are super, but "Palit" is like "PowerColour" - cheap and fragile...
Any way, let me say 50Euro for the GTX 550?
