I just want the forums to be active, people to check whenever they can, ask questions, post opinions and sometimes progress on the beta.

Well all I can tell you is that each time I check the servers they are completely empty. I jump on and run around and play to see if there is anything to report, but when youre alone it is difficult. So if all you want is the answer to the OP here, then the answer seems to be no at the moment. When you have new releases coming out like GTAV and KF2 etc, even Rome has issues attracting huge numbers of players. I am sure open beta next year will bring in some new blood.

Been following this for sometime, so even though there is no actual source, common sense can prevail. NoFate has a life and works on this when he can, so it will be released for open beta when he is ready. I applied for a key like 1 1/2 years ago. Venice closed was released 7 months ago. So applying common sense, mixed with a little reality tells me we will EASILY go thru the rest of this year with the game in its current closed state. Meaning open beta *might* be first quarter 2016, IF we are lucky. We may possibly get to a RC1 version summer of next year, if we are lucky. This is just going by the current trend and pace things are getting done. This is also assuming NoFate et al have not lost interest by then and abandon the project, or HD crashes setting the project back etc etc.

So you dont really have to source anything. If you have been following the project and have a little common sense, you can figure these things out fairly easily.
