Help for BC2CC

Wed Dec 26, 2012 10:05 am

Hello emulatornexus,

I hosted a server and it is working perfectly. It shows ingame and on the website. I found Bad Company 2 Command Center but everytime I try to connect it to my server it says TcpClientConnection to myIP:488888 timed out. Can you help me ?

Are you sure you don't have one eight (8) too much?

You can't connect using localhost (127.0.0.1). Use your external IP.

Make sure that port 48888 is forwarded on the machine where your server is hosted.

Alternatively, open up cmd.exe and type ipconfig to find out your LAN ip (should look like 192.168.*.*) and try to connect to that.

Did you change your password? Go to your server's root directory->Instances->ServerOptions.ini
